Soph Football Posts 4th Shutout

The Antioch sophomore football team concluded the season with its 5th straight victory, topping Round Lake 30-0. The Sequoits finish the season with a record of 7-1-1 and a division best 5-1 record in Prairie Division play. The defense posted its 4th shutout of the season. The sloppy turf made it difficult for both teams to run their offense. Andrew Imler led the Sequoit defense, snagging an interception late in the game. Zach Epker recovered a fumble to aid the defensive effort. Danny Arden was called into his usual role of workhorse and didn't disappoint. Arden scored two touchdowns and converted on 3 2 pt. conversions. Josh Anttila and George Gonzalez also rushed for TDs for Antioch.
