Tiger VB wins 1st Place in their Tournament!
The tigers put up a strong fight today to win their home tournament! They had to beat many tough teams to come out on top.
First they beat Antioch 25-19, 25-17. Tracy Friel had 3 aces and scored 10 points while serving. Katie Koll had 6 good passes and 3 digs.
Next they beat Richmond Burton 25-20, 25-12. Caity DeCoster had 3 good passes, 3 digs and scored 6 points while serving. Lindsay Anderson had 7 kills. Amelia Anderson lead the team with 11 kills.
The tigers then beat McHenry 25-14, 25-16. Courtney Kiolbassa scored 16 points while serving, and had 4 good passes and 3 digs.
The tigers are now 30 and 3 overall.
The tigers then struggled and persevered against Sycamore to win 13-25, 26-24, 25-22. Julie Jeziorowski scored 12 points while serving, and lead the team with 21 good passes and 27 digs. Tracy Friel ran the offense with 38 assists.
The tigers the wrapped up their day with a fight to beat Marian Central 25-18, 15- 25, 25-14. Lindsay Anderson lead the team in kill blocks with 7. Amelia Anderson lead the team in kills with 12.
