IHSA REGIONAL Tournament

Crystal Lake Central wins IHSA regional

Crystal Lake Central won the regional tournament by beating a very good Richmond Burton team. The Tigers were led by the dominance at the net of Lindsay Anderson and Amelia Anderson. Lindsay recorded 10 kills and 5 kill blocks while Amelia had 7 kills and 3 kill blocks. Tracy Friel chipped in with 25 assists while Julie Jeziorowski had 15 digs. Friel led the team in serving with 9 points (4 aces) while Courtney Kiolbassa had 6 points (2 aces). The Tiger record is now 34-3 as they travel to Vernon Hills for the sectional .
