Tigers Win!
The Tigers weren't going to let a little Thunder scare them tonight. As they began their last home match of the 2009 season, the Tigers game out strong and aggressive. Behind some great setting by Amy Rink, the Tiger offense shined. Hitters Libby Paulson, Katie Pratt, Gabby Statter, and Maddie Major were able to pick apart the Thunder defense. Winning game one 25-15, the Tigers had a lot of energy in game two. Leading the Tigers in aces, Gabby Statter served 7 consecutive points to give the Tigers an early 13-2 advantage. Leading all the way though, the Tigers closed out the match by a final score of 25-7 in game two. The Tigers head into their final match of this season on Thursday night in Woodstock as they are now 7-4 in the FVC and 16-11 overall.
