Eagles Squeek Past Mundelein, 1-0.
In North Suburban cross-over game, the varsity soccer team for the second year in a row was able to beat Mundelein. The Eagle defense held strong throughout the game to preserve the shut-out. For goalie, Ben Goforth, this was his 8th shut-out for the year and a school record for any keeper in LCHS history. The lone goal of the game was scored by Steve Korosis who picked up a loose ball at the top of the box, he then dribbled past two Mundelein players and blasted the shot past a surprised keeper. The Eagles record now stands at 8-6-6.
