Field Hockey Eagles beat Highland Park Giants

Lakes Varsity Field Hockey Team defeated the Highland Park Giants 3-0 in a cold game on Tuesday, Oct 13th. The first goal was scored by captain Sarah Beckman ten minutes into the game and it was Sarah's first goal for the season. Sarah's goal was a direct shot scored off of a penalty corner. The second goal was also scored in the first half, with 3:30 left on the play clock. The goal was scored by Megan Schlaeger with an assist by Katie Brinser.

In the second half of the game the Eagles kept the pressure on the Giants and scored a third goal with 13 minutes left. The goal was scored by captain Lexi Annis with an assist from Megan Schlaeger. Senior Goalie Katie Mulloy added another shut out to her season record.

The Eagles will face North Shore Country Day on Wednesday at home at 4:30pm. Way to go Eagles!
