Lions beaten by Wilmington

Lisle had it tough Friday night. They traveled to Wilmington to face an undefeated, state-ranked Wildcat team. Lisle was never in the game. Wilmington won in all three phases. After trailing 55-0 at half Lisle managed a 30-yard scamper from junior RB Mitch McCarthy to avoid the shutout. Lisle (1-6) hosts rival Westmont Friday night for Senior Night. The Lions will honor the senior players and parents in a pre-game ceremony.
