Girs Soccer win DVC Match

The Tigers soccer team evened their record in the DVC with a win over West Chicago on Tuesday evening on Grange Field. The tigers would take the lead when Senior Kate Fowee took a back pass from freshmen AJ Jakuszewski and struck a ball from 30 yards out that found the net off the back post. The tigers would increase their lead when Freshmen midfielder Rachel Conrady would also hit a looping shot over the keepers outstretched hands from 30 yards out as well for a 2-0 half time lead. The assist on the play went to junior forward Dana Miller who now leads the team in assists with five. The Tigers will now open in the Best of the West tournament against Nequa Valley on thursday evening. The game will be played at Naperville Central with a kick off slated for 7 pm. On Friday the tigers will continue tournament play against Andrews and once again the game will start at 7 pm and will be played at Naperville Central. Saturday will see the Tigers finish Pepsi Showdown play when they play Peyton at 2:30 up at Olympic Park in Schaumburg.
